Final day

 Well I have spent my final day in the Netherlands riding mostly small scenic roads, some of which follow the  river. I had a little drive through the city of Rotterdam, where I saw the cube houses.

I must say I have enjoyed the last few days riding in this country. The roads may not be overly exciting to ride but they are in very good condition. Everywhere appears to be kept clean and tidy, not even dirt near the curbs and other unused parts of the roads. The houses are all well kept too. Driving is very courteous and not a hint of road rage.

And so as the day closes, two new friends that I met on this trip at Nordkapp, very kindly come to see me off and wave good bye as I board the overnight ferry which will take me back to the UK.
